CANBY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — At 2:02 p.m. on March 29, 2025, a 2020 Chevy Colorado traveling southbound on US Hwy 75 and a 2004 Ford Sport Trac traveling westbound on MN Hwy 68 collided at the intersection in Canby, Yellow Medicine County.

The driver of the Chevy Colorado: Kendon Michael Knutson, 16, of Canby, MN, was wearing a seat belt, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and was transported to Canby Hospital.

The driver of the Ford Sport Trac: Colin Francis Konicek, 23, of West Dundee, IL, was not injured and not transported.
Conditions were wet, and airbags were deployed in the Chevy but not in the Ford. No alcohol was involved in either case.
The incident drew a response from the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, Canby Fire, and Canby Ambulance.
