Camp Necessity” Homeless Protest in Bemidji Faces Eviction Deadline, Order on Hold

BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Participants in the “Camp Necessity” homeless protest in the railroad corridor south of downtown Bemidji, Minnesota, were ordered to vacate by 4:45 PM this Sunday or face possible arrest. As of 4:48 PM, no actions have been taken against the camp. The protest, which highlights the lack of housing in the area, involves about a dozen people. Police issued the notice to disband citing city ordinances, but the order is currently on hold.
