Business Manager in Bemidji Accused of Sex Crime

BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Bemidji, Minnesota business manager is facing a sex crime charge.
a buiji Minnesota business manager is facing a criminal sexual conduct charge involving a 15-year-old girl uh reading from the criminal complaint with the names of uh victims omitted and uh law enforcement omitted uh quote on September 1st 2023 Beltrami County deputies received a report that a 15-year-old female was possibly in an inappropriate relationship with a 24-year-old male deputy investigated and learned that the allegations took place at a business in buiji deputies further learned that the suspect was the manager of the business the victim was an employee and the allegations of sexual conduct or contact occurred while the pair were on duty during business hours the case was transfer uh transferred to buiji police a detective learned that the 15-year-old girl had quote kissed and stuff unquote her manager uh Scott Bryan the detective learned there was a shirtless photo of Brian on the victim’s phone as well as messages in which Brian was in instructing the victim to delete any pictures of the pair together uh the victim denied any sexual conduct detective learned that a supervisor has reviewed surveillance footage from several incidents in which the victim and bran had entered a cooler at the business and remained inside for a prolonged period of time before emerging without retrieving anything evidently on one occasion it was determined that the pair had locked the cooler from the inside while they were inside the detective spoke with Brian who also denied having sex with a 15-year-old Brian did admit to kissing hugging and grabbing the 15-year-old buttock with his hands uh he said she was clothed at the time Scott Bryan has been charged with criminal sexual conduct fourth degree a charge that carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
