The Minnesota State Patrol reports at least one person injured following an accident involving a school bus Thursday morning in Beltrami County.
According to the State Patrol report Phoebe Cathrine Granger, (31) of Bemidji was injured when the eastbound 2005 Ford pickup she was driving collided with a school bus, driven by Wesley William Wright, (60) of LaPorte.
According to the report, the Ford was on Paul Bunyan Drive, the bus was southbound on Highway 71 when the vehicles collided. Granger was taken to Sanford Health – Bemidji and treated for injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening.
Beltrami County Sheriff officials and Bemidji Fire & Ambulance also responded to the scene just before 8 am. Road conditions were listed as dry.
Officials say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
