BROOKLYN PARK, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A Brooklyn Park Police officer shot a man on the 8700 block of Queens Garden North early Sunday morning, June 23.
The shooting occurred at approximately 4:40 a.m. The armed man was injured and taken to the hospital, where he is expected to survive.
Officers had arrived at the scene about 45 minutes earlier in response to a report of a seven-month-old baby not breathing. The child was transported to a hospital but later died.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the shooting. Brooklyn Park Police confirmed that officer body-cam footage recorded the incident.
