BREAKING UPDATE: Pursuit Suspect Still At Large After Fleeing Vehicle Fire, Search Continues at 12:26 PM

NORMAN COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Authorities were search for a a pursuit suspect in a cornfield, after he fled his burning vehicle on foot in Norman County, Minnesota Friday morning. As of 12:26 pm Friiday the suspect was still at large.
we have an update on this uh pursuit burn vehicle and manhunt just south of nielsville minnesota uh this is in norman county now this started about uh nine o’clock this morning uh the vehicle see seen here apparently a deputy tried to pull him over on a traffic stop for blowing a stop sign south of here the vehicle took off and started on fire uh the driver jumped out of the vehicle and took off into this cornfield and now a man and a manhunt was underway at numerous law enforcement agencies here it sounded like a couple of canines and a drone in the air uh larry strand lives in the cornfield uh right next to this so did the deputies come up and tell you to look out or what yeah they pulled in and said we should lock the doors pull all the keys out of the vehicles and lock the doors and stay inside we don’t seem too worried about you’re all sitting no deck there’s been so much traffic through here and then when you see four or five vehicles come up on the old railroad bed and take off south we figured they had them cornered down there and had them picked up yeah but now we’re seeing the drone flying back and forth over here so yeah they got dogs too so yeah they came through on the other side of the fence here between the fence and the trees three four of them and then they had the dog but then they turned around and went back the other way so yeah it looks like they have the cornfield surrounded so i don’t think he’s got any place to go well it’s got to be getting hot and miserable out in there now just before noon on this friday noon hour we’re still waiting on confirmation whether the suspect has been caught or they’re still searching radio traffic indicated he may have had a long criminal history and which means there could have been an outstanding warrant on the suspect we’ll have more information as soon as it’s available i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
