on Saturday police arrested 20 year-old Presley Slater in Crookston on a warrant that had been issued Friday slay stirs told authorities he was from Crookston he’s not he’s from staples Minnesota and today he was charged with second-degree murder in Cass County Minnesota Court in Walker in connection with the death of a three month old child earlier this month according to court records on December 5th officers were dispatched to a rural staples home for a report of a three-month-old child who was seizing and barely breathing the child was airlifted to a st. cloud hospital and died two days later doctors reported the child had skull fractures as a result of a direct impact or blow sleigh ster told investigators he’s married to the child’s mother but he is not the biological father of the child Slater said he is not employed and was the child’s primary caregiver when the mother was at work he stated that maybe the child hit his head on a nightstand by the bed the coroner ruled the child’s cause of death as blunt-force homicidal violence slay stirs stated quote I’m the one at fault for this cuz it happened on my care I’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
