A car flipped on its side and rolled over in a parking lot in Grand Forks on a Monday evening. The driver came from Continental Drive and jumped a curb in the parking lot, through another parking lot, and rolled onto 1811 22nd Avenue South. The car struck at least two more vehicles. A couple of people saw the incident from the balcony of their apartment. The car almost jumped on top of another car before it rolled over. The people nearby helped the driver get out of the car as there was smoke coming out of it. The driver ran across the parking lot, but the police were talking with her nearby and appeared to be undergoing a field sobriety test. The police are investigating the incident, and more information will be available after their investigation.
