And some breaking news out of Ottertale County early on this Saturday morning. Three cabins on the west side of Ottertale Lake have burned. Uh this in from the Ottertale County Sheriff’s Office at 2:53 a.m. on this Saturday. They received a report of multiple residences on fire in the 28,000 block of Augustana Trail in Armor Township. The cause of the fires is unknown at this time. The three residences were unoccupied and no injuries stemmed from the incident. The three residences involved appear to be a complete loss. The sheriff’s office was assisted by fire departments from Battle Lake, Ottertale, Underwood, Fergus Falls, Burm, and the state fire marshall’s office is investigating. Uh here’s most of the video posted on social media of the fire by Sage Christensen. Can’t see the cabin anymore. There was two standing right there and two sheds. Third cabin is on fire. Power lines, etc. Just making sure I’m not under any power lines. Holy smokes. This is insane. So there’s two cabins fully down. Third one started on fire. Now we’re just trying to protect the fourth one. Fourth one’s between all the smoke back there. This is not an otter tail. Um I believe I don’t know how to pronounce it. Here we go. Augustana Trail. How is it? Anyways, um yeah, this is intense. We were out coyote hunting and I was taking a nap. Wow. I’m going to try and get closer. I know I shouldn’t, but we are on Ottertale Lake currently. It’s really hard to see. There was a cabin right there. There was a cabin back there. Now we’re just They’re working on keeping the third one up and it’s pretty much been it’s been touched. So, as for standing right there, she’s still holding. Power lines are down. Not sure how it started, but we found it pretty much engulfed with flames. The first cabin looked like power lines were down at first, but still unsure on how what caused it. Uh there was no cars outside, so thankfully don’t believe anybody was inside, especially for the first one. As for the second one, still don’t believe anybody was inside. So, we’re hoping nobody was in there. Um it’s all gone. That was a whole house. Both of them were full cabins. I believe it was 26380 house numbers. So, I’m so sorry if this was anybody’s house. Fire departments working their tush off. So that was the fire department on 78. See if I can get a little closer. >> Yeah. That was a full house. >> That was a actually it was three three full houses. So is that one, there was a second one, and then there’s a third one right back there behind this shed. The shed is currently underdo. So my goodness, it spread like wildfire.
