MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Early Sunday morning in Moorhead, Minnesota, police responded to a stabbing incident that resulted in the death of a man. The altercation occurred just after midnight in the 1000 block of Third Avenue North. Officers found a male victim with a stab wound to the chest; he was transported to Sanford Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
A person of interest has been detained, and authorities have confirmed that there is no ongoing threat to the public as the suspect and victim knew each other. The Minnesota State Patrol, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are all involved in the investigation.
