MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A man and woman from Moorhead, Minnesota, have been charged with the murder of a child. On March 18th, Moorhead police began investigating the death of three-year-old Eastyn Deronjic after responding to a medical call for a child not breathing in the 1500 block of Beasley Boulevard.
The investigation has been ongoing, and autopsy results were recently received, confirming homicide. Shiann Erickson, 21, and Rosa Garza, 24, both of Moorhead, have been booked into the Clay County Correctional Facility on second-degree murder without intent charges. The Clay County Attorney’s Office issued warrants for their arrest, and both were taken into custody without incident. The younger sibling in this case remains in protective custody.
