Breaking News: Moorhead Stabbing Suspect Held on Murder Charge

MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A man taken into custody following a fatal stabbing in Moorhead, Minnesota, early this morning is now being held on a murder charge.

Shortly after midnight, Moorhead police responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1000 block of Third Avenue North. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim with a stab wound to the chest. He was transported to Sanford Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His identity is being withheld until the family is notified.

A person of interest was located and is currently detained. Authorities have confirmed there is no threat to the public as the victim and suspect knew each other. The Minnesota State Patrol and Clay County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the initial response, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is aiding the investigation.

While police have not officially named a suspect, 47-year-old Connie Jo Frank is being held in the Clay County Jail on a second-degree murder charge. More details are expected to be released on Monday.
