GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Grand Forks Police are still searching for a male suspect, after a man and woman were stabbed in a Grand Forks apartment this morning.
Neil Berg here in Grand Forks at 4265 Fifth Avenue North a group of apartment building just off University Avenue in Grand Forks two people were stabbed early this morning a male and a female and both are expected to survive details around the incident are still sketchy here Sergeant Travis Benson of the Grand Forks Police Department well officers were dispatched this morning to I guess what we were being told is two people being stabbed by time we got here a suspect had fled the scene so we believe and I guess one one individual was taken yeah ambulance up to the hospital another went I believe by a personal vehicle okay do you know if the person who went by ambulance is a life-threatening wound it seemed at the time but I get what I’m hearing now it sounds like patient is stable but safe that’s all I know at this time with that as the victims they were female male there was one one female and one male and do you know who you’re looking for did they know these two victims but we’re still following up on a few different leads as far as trying to identify a suspect but at this time we do not know who it is we’re not certain whether the victims were familiar with the suspect right now it does appear that it is possible that it is a random incident though so this happened in an apartment a guy break into a party or out in the parking lot here it it all originated inside an apartment and continued in the building okay can you say anymore I mean was there a party going on and this guy comes in doesn’t appear to be anything like that no nothing really nothing else remarkable about what started
