PARK RIVER, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A high school baseball player’s heart stopped, after he was hit by a pitch at the State Legion Tournament in Park River, North Dakota on this Sunday afternoon.
a shocking event at the uh class B Legion baseball tournament, state tournament in Park River on this Sunday afternoon. Just talked with the very reliable source who was on the scene. A catcher in the Lamore Thompson game, uh took a pitch to the left shoulder, uh grabbed his chest and his heart stopped. Uh CPR was started and a defibrillator was used and I’m told the uh player his heart was restarted and taken to the uh hospital in Park River. Uh no further details yet uh but apparently survived the event after a catcher is hit by a foul tip and the uh shoulder and his heart stopped. Uh they got his heart going and taken to the hospital in a Park River. Uh the two teams got together and uh decided to uh uh keep the game going here.
