BREAKING NEWS: High-Risk Offender Apprehended, SWAT Deployed in Crookston

CROOKSTON, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A high risk offender is in custody, after the Grand Forks SWAT Team was called out for backup on Wednesday morning in Crookston.
Neil Berg here with an update on that breaking news out of uh crookston uh grand forks swat team called up to back up a high risk arrest this morning at the north acres of state trailer park on the east side of crookston uh one person arrested without incident here’s uh chief of police uh paul biermeier so we learned um of some intel that had the suspect here in crookston that was staying in the trailer park here and so with the intel we had we considered it a high risk arrest warrant so we got a hold of the grand forks regional special operations group came over the whole thing went down without any any trouble any specific incident we do have one in custody i’ll be releasing the name of that soon okay can you say what he was wanted for um right now uh the the warrant that he was arrested on was a department of corrections the chief biermeyer says he’ll release the suspect’s name soon and a few more details on all this in crookston i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
