Fosston (trfnews.i234.me) – We have a tragic update following a deadly house fire in Fosston, Minnesota, early Wednesday morning.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one person died and others were injured in the blaze, which broke out at a home on First Street East near the bus garage around 4:30 a.m.
A GoFundMe page created by a family member identifies the victims as Zach Haugen and his three daughters. The three girls managed to escape the fire, but Zach and two of his daughters were airlifted to Minneapolis for emergency medical treatment.
The individual who perished in the fire has been identified as Zach Haugen’s father.
At this time, no official update has been provided on the condition of the injured family members. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office is continuing its investigation into the cause of the fire.
