Polk County (trfnews.i234.me) – We have breaking news out of Polk County, Minnesota, this Saturday morning. Authorities have locked down a residence near Island Lake, just south of Lengby, following the discovery of a possibly deceased individual.
Emergency dispatchers received a call at approximately 9:09 a.m. stating:
“Attention, please respond to Island Lake Road East in Lengby for an individual who is possibly deceased. Possible smoke inhalation.”
Law enforcement quickly arrived on the scene, securing the area with crime scene tape. A coroner has also arrived, signaling the severity of the incident. At this time, details surrounding the cause of death remain unclear, but early reports suggest smoke inhalation may be involved.
The investigation is ongoing, and more information is expected as officials continue processing the scene and interviewing witnesses.
