Ricky Alan Blomlie, 35, of Brainerd, is charged with Felony Domestic Assault. He is also charged with Felony Drugs in the 5th Degree. The drug count alleges possession of a controlled substance or residue.

The victim reported an argument in a bedroom. The victim said Blomlie backed the victim into a corner. The victim said Blomlie kicked a dresser.
The complaint says glass items broke during the incident. The victim also reported a bruise on the chest. The victim said Blomlie stuck an arm out during the argument.
Later, the victim returned to the location in a vehicle. The complaint says Blomlie ripped off a door handle. The handle was then thrown at the vehicle, prosecutors allege.
The victim told police they were afraid. The complaint says police later contacted Blomlie. Prosecutors say he admitted kicking the dresser and damaging the vehicle. The complaint says he denied striking the victim.

Arrest and drug allegation
Blomlie was arrested after the contact, according to the complaint. Police then searched him, prosecutors allege. The complaint says officers found gloves with a crystal-like substance.
Police say the substance field-tested positive for methamphetamine. The complaint lists the weight as 0.56 grams.
