a Botana woman is facing criminal charges in Grand Forks after allegedly striking an officer according to court documents on December 23rd an officer responded to 812 4th Avenue South to meet with Raquel Johnson for the second time that day Johnson was on the sidewalk in front of the building and immediately began yelling at the officer saying she wasn’t getting the help she needed for an incident earlier in the day no word in charges and what that incident was was the officer reported Johnson W walked toward him striking him in the side of the head with an open Palm then struggled with officers during her arrest Johnson has been charged with felonies of simple assault and preventing arrest I’m Alex Stone reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
