FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Fargo Police have provided an update regarding the discovery of a deceased female in the Red River. On Saturday at 10:56 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of Broadway North following a report of a body in the river. The Moorhead Fire Department assisted in extracting the body from the water. Preliminary investigations suggest the death may be a suicide.
The Fargo Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is continuing the investigation. Earlier this afternoon, the investigation team was seen working farther south at 12th Avenue North under the bridge, in connection to the body found at North Broadway.
