Anthony Gant, a 35-year-old man from Pine Hill, Alabama, has been charged with felony first-degree assault, great bodily harm and felony assault in the second degree. The charges relate to a bloody assault at a bar in War Road, Minnesota. On November 11th, War Road police were called to Izzy’s Lounge and Grill at 1am due to an active fight. Upon arrival, officers discovered a large amount of blood on the ground at the bar entrance and the male victim was loaded into an ambulance with heavy bleeding, a large laceration on his face and blood on his clothing. The victim was taken to Roseau and airlifted to Grand Forks for emergency surgery.
