CLAY COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A Blaine woman was arrested in Moorhead and is now facing a felony drug charge after jail staff found methamphetamine on her during booking.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Clay County District Court, Sabrina Lynne Green, 31, was located at a residence on 13th Street South after officers received a tip that she had active arrest warrants. Officers confirmed the warrants and arrested her without incident.
While being booked into the Clay County Jail, a baggie containing a suspicious substance was found during a search. Testing by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension confirmed it contained 2.5 grams of methamphetamine.
Green has been charged with 5th Degree Drug Possession under Minnesota Statute 152.025.2(1) — a felony punishable by up to five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine.
