Bicyclist Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Fargo Vehicle Collision

A serious crash occurred at 9:32 AM on September 10, 2024, at the intersection of 25th Street S and 40th Avenue S in Fargo. A 66-year-old bicyclist was critically injured after being struck by a 2023 Ford F-150, driven by 49-year-old Bing Zhang of Fargo. Zhang was uninjured, and no charges have been filed.

The accident took place when Zhang’s vehicle, traveling eastbound on 40th Avenue S, turned left onto 25th Street S, colliding with the bicyclist, who entered the crosswalk. The bicyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the bike and sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital by Sanford Ambulance.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
