A traffic accident in Becker County over the weekend left a bicyclist injured. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Amber Rose Greene, 44, was struck by a 1999 Chevy Suburban driven by 82-year-old Stanley Krajsa.
The accident occurred on the eastbound shoulder of Highway 34 in Detroit Lakes. The State Patrol reported that the Chevy had pulled over to let faster vehicles pass and collided with the bicycle while re-entering the highway at Highland Drive.
Greene was transported to a Fargo hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while Krajsa was uninjured. Authorities confirmed that Krajsa had not been drinking, and it is currently unknown if Greene had consumed alcohol before the crash.
