MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) – A disturbing case of child abuse has emerged in Maple Grove, where a former daycare teacher is accused of groping a 9-year-old student. The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Ryan Vaughan, has been criminally charged and fired from his job at Tutor Time.
According to the charging document, officers were initially called to a report on August 12 after the child’s parents noticed their behavior was off over several weeks. The child allegedly told their parents that Vaughan had inappropriately touched them, warning them not to tell anyone about it.
Vaughan is charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct. Authorities have confirmed that he has been fired from Tutor Time and an investigation into this disturbing incident continues.
