Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) A Bemidji woman is facing felony and gross misdemeanor charges after prosecutors said she used methamphetamine with her teenage daughter more than once.
Rebecca Lynn Rearick, 34, was charged Tuesday in Beltrami County District Court. She faces one felony count. She also faces one gross misdemeanor count of child endangerment.

What the Complaint Says
According to the criminal complaint, investigators met Rearick at her home on March 31. The interview followed claims that she had given meth to her 14-year-old daughter.
Rearick first denied knowing about the girl’s drug use, according to the complaint. Investigators said she later admitted using meth with her daughter on two occasions.
One event allegedly happened soon after the girl left a hospital. Prosecutors said Rearick brought meth into the child’s bedroom. The complaint said she used the drug there with the girl.
The complaint also said Rearick left a pipe with the child after that incident.
Further Allegations
Prosecutors also said Rearick reacted after hearing sirens nearby. The complaint said she threw away both phones. One was hers. One belonged to her daughter.
The complaint said she then took the girl to a home tied to meth users. Prosecutors said she left the child there alone for about an hour.
Later, the girl tested positive for methamphetamine in a urine test, according to court records. Family members also reported long-term concern about Rearick’s drug use.
They also told investigators the child had said her mother gave her methamphetamine.
What Happens Next
Rearick remains in custody while the case moves forward. The felony count carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both.
Charges are accusations, not convictions. The case remains pending in court.
