Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) — Prosecutors have filed a felony complaint in Beltrami County District Court after a reported assault and knife threats incident near Bemidji, according to court records in Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District.

The complaint names Amira Erin Rossbach, born March 27, 2007, of Bemidji, Minnesota, as the defendant.

Felony and Misdemeanor Charges

Rossbach is charged with one felony count of terroristic threats, court records say.

She also faces one misdemeanor count of fifth-degree assault, according to the complaint.

What Court Records Say Happened

Court records say deputies responded at about 1:00 a.m. on Dec. 8, 2025, to a report of a possible assault involving a weapon.

The complaint lists the location as a residence off Roosevelt Road SE in Beltrami County.

According to the filing, a person identified as D.D. told deputies Rossbach tried to stab through her sister’s bedroom door.

Records say D.D. reported he restrained Rossbach.

The complaint says Rossbach’s sister, identified as A.R., was visibly upset when she spoke with authorities.

Court records say A.R. reported that earlier in the night, she and Rossbach were at a separate residence.

The complaint states Rossbach got into a physical fight with another female there.

Records say the sisters then returned to the Roosevelt Road residence.

According to the complaint, A.R. said Rossbach became angry, grabbed a kitchen knife, and said she wanted to stab people.

A.R. reported she went into her bedroom, court records say.

The complaint alleges Rossbach yelled and stabbed the bedroom door several times.

Records say A.R. feared Rossbach would get into the room.

Knife and Door Damage Cited

Court records say a knife was later located, and the door was photographed.

The complaint describes stab marks in the bedroom door.

Assault Allegation Also Listed

The complaint also describes an alleged assault involving a person identified as L.B.

Court records say L.B. had a red mark under one eye.

Records state Rossbach admitted she fought with L.B. during the incident.
