BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On July 26, 2024, Bemidji Police K-9 Doc played a crucial role in locating a disoriented woman. The incident began when deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle with smashed windows on Dow Court Southwest. A male and female were seen walking away from the vehicle. The female appeared disoriented, lying in a ditch before moving into the woods.
Bemidji Police, including Officer Kniss and K-9 Doc, were called in to assist. K-9 Doc successfully tracked the woman to a residence near Yellowhead Road Southwest. She was identified, assisted out of the woods, and taken to a family member’s home for further care.
