BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Bemidji man is facing a felony Assault charge, after allegedly threatening a security officer at the hospital with a handgun.
David Joe Villier Sr., a 57-year-old from Bemidji, is facing a felony charge of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon. According to court documents, on July 7th, Villier allegedly threatened a security officer at a hospital with a handgun after becoming upset when staff refused to give him a ride. The security officer reported that Villier began pulling the handgun out of his pocket. Police located Villier walking nearby and arrested him, discovering a handgun in his pocket.
