Bemidji: Dorr, Brown Face Meth and DWI Charges

Bemidji, Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) — Two criminal complaints describe traffic stops in Bemidji. Both stops led to drug and DWI charges.

In one case, prosecutors charged Jeffrey Scott Dorr, as listed in the complaint. In another case, prosecutors charged Blair Marie Brown, 41, of Minneapolis.

Case 1: Feb. 11 stop on Paul Bunyan Drive

Police say the stop happened at about 2:02 a.m. on February 11, 2026. An officer saw a vehicle at a gas station on Paul Bunyan Drive South. The officer wrote that the license plates were revoked. Police followed and saw the vehicle drift and cross the fog line.

Police identified the driver as Jeffrey Scott Dorr. The complaint says he showed signs of impairment. Police noted glassy eyes and eyelid tremors. Police wrote that Dorr said he used marijuana the day before. The complaint says he denied using meth or fentanyl.

What police say they found

Police say a search of Dorr found suspected meth in many small baggies. The complaint lists about 34 grams on his person. Police also reported another bag with more small baggies in his clothing.

Police also searched the vehicle, the complaint says. They reported glass pipes, snorting tubes, foil, and a scale with residue. Police also reported about six grams of suspected meth on the driver’s floorboard.

A passenger, identified as Slowey, 46, first gave a false name, police wrote. Police say they later found about 1.08 grams of suspected meth under her leg. Police wrote the packaging and scale suggested drug sales.

Case 2: Blair Marie Brown filing

In a separate complaint, Blair Marie Brown is charged after a traffic stop in Bemidji. Officers reported five needles with liquid in Brown’s wallet. They also reported five blue pills in the same wallet. Police reported about 40 grams of suspected meth in the vehicle and on Brown.

Charges and court process

Dorr faces a felony second-degree drug sale. He also faces felony third-degree drug possession. He also faces a gross misdemeanor second-degree DWI.

Brown is charged with second-degree drug sale. She is also charged with third-degree drug possession. She is also charged with second-degree DWI.

The complaint says a judge set Dorr’s bail at $150,000. The complaint lists conditions, including a firearms ban. All charges are allegations. Defendants are presumed innocent.
