Beltrami County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – Breaking news out of Bemidji on Saturday afternoon as emergency crews respond to a reported three-vehicle crash. The accident was reported along Paul Bunyan Drive near Keith’s Pizza on First Street South, close to Lake Bemidji.

According to initial radio traffic, multiple callers reported the collision around mid-afternoon. Police, fire, and ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene. Witnesses said three vehicles appeared to be involved in the crash, which caused traffic delays in the area.

Emergency radio traffic later indicated that at least one person may have needed to be extricated from a vehicle due to the severity of the crash. As of now, the extent of injuries has not been confirmed, and authorities have not released official details regarding the number of people transported to local hospitals.

Bemidji Police Department, fire crews, and medical personnel remain on scene. Motorists are being asked to avoid the Paul Bunyan Drive and First Street South area while responders work. Drivers in the area should expect possible delays until the scene is cleared.

This is a developing story. Additional details will be provided once law enforcement releases more information. For information on Minnesota traffic laws and accident response, visit the Minnesota State Patrol website.
