22 year old casey john schills of elk river minnesota is facing criminal charges following a terrifying ordeal for a beltrami county minnesota woman reading from the criminal complaint quote on october 7th at 6 11 p.m deputies responded to a report of a possible kidnapping in the wilton area of beltrami county upon arrival deputies met with the female victim who advised that on saturday october 2nd shills had pulled her into his car and held her by the arm and refused to let her go for a period of time before eventually releasing her the victim further advised that on october 7th shills continually text messaged her and at approximately 4 pm she was driving and observed shills riding his bicycle near her house the victim continued driving for a short period of time in hopes that she would avoid shills but when she returned she observed shills walking her dog the victim informed deputies that her dog was in her residence and shills would have had to enter her residence to retrieve her dog the victim told deputies that she finally pulled over to obtain her dog from shills shills refused to provide her the dog and when the victim got out of the car to get her dog shills picked her up and forced her into her car through the driver’s door causing damage to the interior of the car deputies observe observed portions of the center console of the victim’s car which appeared to be obviously damaged the victim stated that shills then took off on u.s highway 2 driving her car and saying if i can’t have you no one can the uh female attempted several times to call 911 the phone or take it away deputies were able to review 9-1-1 calls made around that time and saw several in a row that had been attempted and disconnected the victim stated she was fearful she was going to die and momentarily contemplated jumping from the vehicle as it traveled down the highway eventually however the victim stated she was able to convince shills to pull over and she drove him to the place uh he was staying the victim victim uh completed a danger assessment and indicated 11 yes answers upon arrival at that location that chills had been staying he suddenly demanded to go back to the victim’s residence to obtain his bicycle the victim tried to make a break for it and took off running but was tackled by shills the victim advised that this took place on a dirt road right in front of the building that chill stays in the victim recounted that shills placed her in a choke hold and that she was unable to breathe and eventually vomited on the dirt road the victim stated that she was dragged in the gravel by shills while speaking to the victim deputies observed her to display multiple abrasions dust on her clothing and bruises on her arms and hands shills claimed that she attacked him casey shills has been charged with felony a domestic assault and gross misdemeanor emergency telephone calls communications interrupt or disrupt a i’m neil 911 reporting for trfnews.i234.me
