Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) — A dramatic scene unfolded in Beltrami County on April 29th after Preston John Dick of Bemidji, Minnesota, allegedly fled a routine traffic stop while having an outstanding warrant. According to court documents, Dick sped through a residential area in Bemidji at an alarming 70 miles per hour before finally coming to a stop and attempting to flee on foot.
Authorities quickly apprehended him. He now faces serious felony charges, including fleeing in a motor vehicle and first-degree DWI. Notably, Dick has four previous DWI convictions on his record, further compounding the severity of the situation.
