Beltrami County Man Charged With Felony Burglary After Allegedly Breaking In To Steal

Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Beltrami County man is facing serious charges after allegedly breaking into a property with the intent to steal. Authorities say Robert May was taken into custody on March 24, 2025, and is now being held without bail at the Beltrami County Jail.

Court records show that May has been charged with Third-Degree Burglary under Minnesota statute 609.582.3(a) — entering a building without consent and with intent to commit a felony or gross misdemeanor. The charge is classified as a felony, and the case is currently assigned to the District Court under case #25-004370.
