Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) — Chaos erupted in a BEMIDJI apartment on April 6th, when police responded to a disturbing report of a domestic assault in progress. The suspect? Hunter Keegan Schoenborn, who now faces a felony charge of domestic assault.
According to court documents, the female victim told police that during an alcohol-fueled argument, Schoenborn slapped her in the face three times. When authorities arrived, the scene was one of destruction — broken furniture, a sprayed fire extinguisher, and blood on Schoenborn’s sweatshirt and sweatpants. Despite his intoxicated state, Schoenborn denied the assault. He was promptly arrested and charged.
This isn’t just another case — it’s a grim reminder of the real danger behind domestic violence, and the toll substance abuse can take on relationships and safety.
