Bemidji (trfnews.i234.me) – A disturbing domestic incident has led to serious charges for a Bemidji man accused of violently assaulting his girlfriend and her mother.
According to court documents, on June 22 at 1 p.m., officers responded to a residence in Bemidji where Toca Allen Nelson had allegedly become intoxicated and violent. His girlfriend reported that he pushed her down during an argument.
When her mother intervened, Nelson allegedly grabbed her by the throat and threatened, “I won’t be scared to catch a body bag.”
The girlfriend also told officers Nelson had hit her in the face two to three times, and she was suffering pain in her throat from being choked.
Nelson, who had reportedly been dating the woman for just a month, was arrested and is now charged with:
