Becker County: Two Arrested In Vacant Home Burglary
Becker County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – Two people face felony charges after they were found inside a vacant home in Becker County on Tuesday. Both suspects are now in custody at the Becker County Jail.
Brian Arthur Pyle, 28, of Moorhead, and Brandie Rochelle Anderton, 35, of West Fargo, North Dakota, are each charged with second-degree burglary of a dwelling. Charges are listed in official Minnesota court records.
The burglary happened at a home on 192nd Street in Lake Park. The home belonged to a man who died in September 2025. His brother now owns the property.
Trail Camera Captures Suspects
A trail camera placed on the property showed a vehicle entering the area around 2:35 a.m. Tuesday. Around 12:30 p.m., the camera alerted again and captured a person carrying items toward a vehicle. The family used the camera system to watch for trespassing and vandalism.
The property owner’s nephew went to check the home with two family members. They found a white pickup in the driveway, and the back door was open. Inside the home, they found a man and a woman wearing masks.
The family told the pair they were trespassing and said they planned to call law enforcement. The suspects begged them not to call. They then tried to leave.

Struggle Over Vehicle Keys
The nephew took the keys from the pickup to stop the suspects from escaping. A struggle followed between the nephew and the male suspect. The suspects then left the scene. Investigators believe the man had a spare key.
A hat believed to belong to Anderton was found inside the home. Family members noticed several items had been moved and stacked near doors. They could not tell if anything was missing because of the home’s condition.
Traffic Stop Leads To Arrests
Deputies later stopped a vehicle that matched the description. Pyle was driving, and Anderton was the passenger. Both wore clothing matching descriptions from the scene. A dog in the vehicle was taken to a local animal shelter.
Pyle told deputies they were “just driving.” The event happened during a snowstorm. Court documents show Pyle has a prior felony burglary conviction in Otter Tail County. More information on Minnesota burglary law is available through the Minnesota Statutes.
A second-degree burglary charge carries up to 10 years in prison, a $20,000 fine, or both.
