Cormorant Township, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — Authorities in Becker County are investigating the death of a 44-year-old woman found on the shore of Arrow Lake in Cormorant Township. The Becker County Sheriff’s Office received a welfare check request for the woman on Friday, April 11, due to concerns about her health and safety. Deputies were unable to locate her at that time. The following morning, Saturday, April 12, she was found deceased near a residence on the lake’s shore. Her identity has not been released pending family notification. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Conservation are assisting in the ongoing investigation.
