BEAVER CREEK TOWNSHIP, Rock County (trfnews.i234.me) — A devastating crash on March 27, 2025, at 10:44 p.m. claimed the life of Grant Ira Crawford (47) of Jasper, MN when his 2023 Ford F-150 collided with a 2015 Chevy Impala on MN Highway 23 near 101st Street.
Both vehicles were reportedly heading northbound when they collided, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Crawford was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the Impala, Jayson Lynn Delf (21) of Hardwick, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Avera Emergency. Notably, Delf was not wearing a seat belt, and alcohol was confirmed to be involved in his case.
Responding agencies included Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Beaver Creek Fire, Luverne EMS, G&S Towing, South Dakota Highway Patrol, and Avera Flight.
