DEVILS LAKE, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A 19-year-old homeless man, Nathaniel T. Modica, is now facing a felony aggravated assault charge after a violent altercation at Nellie’s Bar in Devils Lake, North Dakota.
On August 17th, officers responded to a medical emergency at the bar and found a male victim unconscious with a severe head wound.
The following day, the victim, who had received several stitches on the back of his head, provided police with video footage of the incident.
The video showed Modica approaching the victim and striking him with a closed fist, causing the victim to fall and hit his head on the concrete, leaving him unconscious.
Modica was located nearby and, during questioning, admitted to the assault.
