Bagley, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) Jessica Jo Randberg of Mahnomen faces felony and misdemeanor charges. The charges stem from a March 4 incident at a Bagley home. The case was filed in Clearwater County.
What Happened
Prosecutors charged Randberg with first-degree burglary and fifth-degree assault. The burglary count says another person was inside the home when she entered.
The complaint says a resident told police Randberg came into the home without permission. The resident said he told her to leave. He then said she became aggressive and swung at him. The resident said he blocked the blows with his hands and arms.
Police were sent to a home on Getchell Avenue NE at about 4:19 p.m., the complaint says. Officers found Randberg on a couch with her shirt over her face, according to the filing. The complaint says officers told her to gather her things and leave. After several commands, officers helped her stand and escorted her outside.

Alcohol Level and Arrest
The complaint says officers believed Randberg was intoxicated. It says they noticed a strong smell of alcohol. A preliminary breath test later showed a result of 0.268, according to the filing.
Randberg was arrested and taken for medical clearance before being booked into the Clearwater County Jail, the complaint says.
Charges Filed
Prosecutors filed the burglary charge under Minnesota Statute 609.582. They filed the assault charge under Minnesota Statute 609.224. The burglary count carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, a $35,000 fine, or both.
Court records list the case as 15-CR-26-93. The complaint was filed in Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District. The complaint also cites Randberg’s past court history, including disorderly conduct and assault-related cases.
Those earlier matters do not decide this case. The new charges remain allegations unless proven in court.
