DETROIT LAKES, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Red Eagle Goodwin of Bagley, Minnesota, is facing a felony charge for allegedly assaulting a doctor while being treated for a possible overdose. According to court documents, Goodwin was arrested by White Earth officers in rural Becker County on July 28th due to an outstanding felony warrant from Monoman County.
During the transport to St. Mary’s Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes for medical clearance, Goodwin became combative and kicked. Upon arrival at the hospital, he was handcuffed to a hospital bed in the emergency department. Despite being restrained, Goodwin continued to struggle and kicked the treating physician in the head while a White Earth officer was attempting to control him.
