Baesler Races to 5th at Bradley Pink Classic with Career-Best Time

PEORIA, Ill. – North Dakota State senior Reagan Baesler continued her impressive cross country season on Friday afternoon, racing to a fifth-place finish at the Bradley Pink Classic to lead the Bison women.
 
Baesler clocked a personal-best 20:23.1 for the six-kilometer race – the fastest ever by a Bison at this meet, and seventh-fastest overall in school history.
 
As a team, the Bison women took ninth place out of 35 Division I schools in the meet. NDSU finished with a score of 246 points to finish directly ahead of Iowa and Kansas State in the team standings.
 
NDSU senior Grace Link was the No. 2 Bison finisher behind Baesler, taking 41st place with a time of 21:15.1. Freshman Jenna DeBates finished 58th in 21:29.1.
 
Junior Aleah Miller (21:38.1) was 71st, and freshman Mia Hoffmann (21:45.4) was 79th to complete the NDSU team scoring.
 
Baesler has paced the Bison women at all four meets this season.
 
The Bison will race next at the Summit League Championships in Vermillion, S.D., on Nov. 2.
