North Dakota State senior Reagan Baesler became the fourth Bison women’s cross country runner to earn All-Region honors at the Division I level with her performance Friday at the NCAA Midwest Regional. The recognition was officially announced by the USTFCCCA on Monday.
Baesler (Mayville, N.D. / Hillsboro HS) placed 12th overall out of more than 230 runners, securing All-Region status with a Top 25 finish.
Only Erin Teschuk (1st in 2015; 2nd in 2014) and Kelby Anderson (7th in 2019; 9th in 2018) have ever finished higher for NDSU at the D-I regional meet. Brecca Wahlund is the only other All-Region performer for NDSU in cross country, placing 14th in 2012.
Baesler was the Summit League individual champion this season, winning the conference title on Nov. 2 by a margin of 24 seconds.
