Authorities Seek Suspect in Attempted Abduction Case in Bemidji, Minnesota

BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Law enforcement is asking for the public’s help in finding an Attempted Abduction suspect.
bemidji police are looking for a suspect in an attempted abduction this from bemidji police quote on sunday 6 25 p.m they were dispatched to the area of cameron park on a report of an attempted abduction upon arrival police officers spoke with two juvenile females they stated they were walking down the paved entrance road into cameron park when they were approached by a younger male who asked them to walk into the woods to look at a snake as the juveniles spoke with him they became nervous and began to walk away he followed them and at one point wrapped his arm around one of the females and attempted to pick her up both juveniles started to scream which caused the male to let go and run away from the area to the northwest the male is described as being light uh complexion with curly dirty blonde hair he’s believed to be in his eight late teens to early twenty uh between five foot seven to five foot ten inches and has a slim bill build the male has acne on his face and forehead with brown eyes and very pink lips the suspect was wearing a red and black baseball cap a black sweatshirt with white and white lettering blue jeans and square toed cowboy boots the bemidji police department is being assisted in an investigation by the beltrami county sheriff’s office in minnesota bca we ask anyone with information to come forward if you live in the immediate area and have outdoor surveillance cameras that may have captured video of the suspect as he fled on foot or prior to the incident uh please contact detective nick wilcello 218-333-8312 if you have information about this crime you can report it and stay anonymous by contacting crime stoppers of minnesota at their website crimestoppersmn.org or by calling their toll-free number 1-800-222-tips8477 i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
