On June 5th, at 12:45 AM, a Chevy Silverado driven by Anthony Faveros was traveling northeast and attempted to cross the train tracks.
According to the ND Highway Patrol, the vehicle became stuck on the railroad in Burlington, N.D. A train traveling southeast struck the vehicle on the driver’s side.
The press release states Faveros, a 30-year-old male from Burlington, N.D., was pronounced deceased on scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
