North Dakota Attorney General Urges More Victims to Come Forward in Ray Holmberg Child Sex Crimes Case

BISMARCK, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – The North Dakota Attorney General is urging potential victims of former state senator Ray Holmberg, who recently pleaded guilty to child sex crimes, to come forward. Attorney General Drew Wrigley believes that there are more individuals with crucial information about the case and is asking them to contact investigators.

Ray Holmberg, a former legislator from Grand Forks, admitted in federal court to traveling to the Czech Republic to engage in illegal sexual activities with minors. His sentencing is scheduled for later this year. Despite Holmberg’s guilty plea, Wrigley emphasizes that the investigation is ongoing and that additional witnesses could provide vital information.

“You don’t close down avenues of pursuit simply because one person has been charged,” Wrigley stated. He further expressed that both state and federal investigators are still keen on hearing from anyone who might hold more details about the case. “There could potentially be others with information, and I want to encourage them to dig deep and consider the value of justice that can be achieved when the truth is shared.”

Wrigley is calling on anyone with additional information, even those who have already spoken to investigators, to reach out to the North Dakota Attorney General’s office or the U.S. Attorney’s office.
