CASS COUNTY, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – On January 7, 2025, at approximately 2:15 a.m., Cass County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an alarm at Bank North in Arthur, North Dakota. Upon arrival, deputies found that the bank’s ATM had been forcibly accessed. During the investigation, information was received from Traill County authorities regarding a similar bank burglary in their jurisdiction. The suspect vehicle from the Traill County incident was reported traveling southbound into Cass County.

Pursuit and Arrests

Cass County Deputies located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle fled, leading to a high-speed pursuit that concluded near Northern Cass School along County Road 26. All three occupants were detained, arrested, and transported to the Cass County Jail. The individuals face charges related to the Cass County burglary. No injuries were reported during the arrest.

Suspects Charged

The individuals arrested are:

  • Zachary Huesers, 33, of Garrison, ND: Charged with Burglary (Class C Felony) and Fleeing a Peace Officer in a Motor Vehicle (Class C Felony).
  • Jacob Stein, 30, of Fargo, ND: Charged with Burglary (Class C Felony).
  • Tucker St. Croix, 30, with no permanent address: Charged with Burglary (Class C Felony).

Ongoing Investigation

Sheriff Jesse Jahner acknowledged the collaborative efforts of Cass and Traill County authorities, as well as Bank North employees, in the apprehension of the suspects. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident. No further information is available at this time.

All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
