Assault & Threatening Women Charges In Jamestown

JAMETOWN, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Ashton E. Newman of Jamestown is facing serious felony charges after a violent incident involving two women. According to court documents, the incident occurred on August 20th at 3:04 a.m. when police were dispatched to a Jamestown residence following a report of an assault.

Newman allegedly struck one woman on the head, causing a laceration, bruising, and swelling. He then reportedly threatened to kill a second woman if she reported the assault to authorities. Newman has now been charged with felony counts of terrorizing and aggravated assault, facing significant legal consequences.
