MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A Moorhead, Minnesota man is facing serious legal consequences after being charged with felony assault for allegedly attacking a woman in the town. Leonard E. King has been charged with two felony counts: domestic assault with two or more prior convictions and another assault charge, according to court documents.
The incident occurred on August 24th, when Moorhead police were dispatched to the intersection of 17th Street and 7th Avenue North. Upon arrival, officers found King on top of the female victim, who had visible injuries.
The victim reported that King became enraged over fussing children and violently grabbed her by the hair. He then proceeded to kick her and strike her in the face, according to the victim’s account to the police.
